Police suspect alcohol caused rollover in LaGrange County

HOWE, Ind. (WANE) Officials believe alcohol may have been a factor in a rollover late Friday night that caused three people to be air lifted to a hospital in Fort Wayne. The group was in a truck that rolled on a County Road in LaGrange County. .

Indiana Conservation Officer Jacob Carlile was patrolling the area around CR 125 East and CR 800 North. Just before 11 p.m., he witnessed a truck leave the road, hit an embankment and roll onto its side. When Carlile arrived at the truck, he found the following three people who were seriously injured:

Robert Cossairt, 57, of Bronson, Michigan

Deneen Printke, 50, of Remus, Michigan

Dennis Evans, 58, of Orland, Indiana

The group was extracted from the truck. As of Sunday, all three people were listed in fair condition.

The Howe Fire Department, the LaGrange County Sheriff’s Department, and Parkview LaGrange EMS assisted.
