Organization enriches lives through horses

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE)  It’s more than just horseback riding. More than 200 people each year take those rides to improve their lives.

Summit Equestrian Center is a non-profit organization that works with children and adults with all disabilities through the interaction with horses.

Allison Wheaton, Executive Director of Summit Equestrian joined NewsChannel 15’s Gina Glaros and Meteorologist Rob Lydick on First News to talk more about the farm’s impact.

The center is looking for volunteers.

Summit Equestrian Center is located at 10808 LaCabreah Lane.
