FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – IPFW is prepping to battle the University of Evansville on Wednesday night in the first round of C.I.T., as the Mastodons hit the practice floor Monday afternoon to get ready for the Purple Aces.
IPFW (16-14) will play at Evansville (19-12) at 8 p.m. eastern Wednesday night.
Evansville is led by Kokomo High School graduate D.J. Ballentine. The junior guard averages 19.2 points per game.
This is the second consecutive year IPFW has played in the C.I.T. The Dons beat Akron at the Gates Center in the first round of last year’s tournament before falling at VMI.
