Main Street opens after crash

A few blocks were closed on Main Street around 11:15 a.m. Thursday after a crash.

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) Five people suffered minor injuries in a crash in downtown Fort Wayne Thursday.

Around 11:30 a.m. a car headed south on Calhoun Street ran a red light and crashed into a truck headed west on Main Street, according to a Fort Wayne police officer at the scene. The truck then flipped over and hit a pole.

There were three people in the truck and two people in the car.

Main Street was closed between Clinton and Harrison Streets for more than an hour while crews cleared the scene.
