BLOOMINGTON, Ind. — The Indiana men’s basketball team fell to Iowa on Tuesday night at Assembly Hall, 77-63.Nick Zeisloft hit five 3-pointers to lead the Hoosiers in scoring with 15 points.

James Blackmon Jr. also hit double-figures for Indiana, scoring 14 points on 6-of-13 shooting, while Kevin Yogi Ferrell added 11. Troy Williams scored eight points and pulled down 13 boards while tying a career high by dishing four assists.

Ferrell opened the game’s scoring on a 3-pointer, marking the 61st consecutive game he has hit at least one triple, the best active streak in the NCAA.

The teams traded the lead for much of the first half until an Aaron White layup gave the Hawkeyes’ their biggest lead of the period at 32-26. Indiana responded with a Robert Johnson jumper at the buzzer to make it 32-28 at the half.

After Ferrell sunk another 3-pointer to start the second period, Iowa used a 12-2 run to extend its lead to 44-33 with 13:54 left on the clock.

White scored 13 of his game-high 21 points in the second half, including hitting 7-of-8 from the free throw line.

After a pair of free throws from Anthony Clemmons gave Iowa a 63-49 lead, the Hoosiers used Zeisloft’s fourth 3-pointer of the night and a Ferrell free throw to make it 63-53. However, Indiana would get no closer as the Hawkeyes sank 10 free throws in the final 3:35 to secure the win.

The Hoosiers close out the regular season on Saturday as they play host to Michigan State at noon before playing in the Big Ten Tournament next week.
