Single game TinCaps tickets go on sale

Wednesday, February 18, was the first day to buy single game tickets for the Fort Wayne TinCaps 2015 season.

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) Despite the bitter cold temperatures, TinCaps fans took advantage of the first day to buy single game tickets for the 2015 by making the trek to Parkview Field and those who showed up at Parkview Field between 8 am and 10 am were treated to a free breakfast.

Opening Day is set for Sunday, April 12 at 4:05 p.m. Fans can check out the team’s just-released promotional schedule featuring 30 nights of fireworks, 20-plus theme nights, 13 national entertainment acts, and a dozen other ballpark events by clicking here.

Individual tickets start at $5.00.

During the 2014 season, 25 games sold out as Parkview Field set a new attendance record.

Those who come to Parkview Field to buy tickets between 8:00 and 10:00 a.m. Wednesday will be treated to a free breakfast in the Suite Level Lounge. The menu will include fresh scrambled eggs, buttermilk pancakes, bacon, hash browns, cereal, oatmeal, fruit, and yogurt, along with coffee and orange juice.

The TinCaps are offering fans a special Opening Day Plus promotion. With the purchase of a ticket to Opening Day plus a ticket to another game from April 13-May 14, fans will receive a free regular-sized soft drink and a free hot dog for the second game they attend. Mention this promotion when purchasing tickets via phone or in person.

After 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, fans looking to purchase TinCaps tickets in person at Parkview Field can visit The Orchard Team Store between 10:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday-Friday. Fans also can purchase tickets on TinCaps.com or by phone at 260-482-6400.
