Homestead’s Williams & Hall Sign With College Soccer Programs

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – A very successful high school soccer career has paid dividends for two Homestead seniors. Morgann Williams and Victoria Hall signed will continue their playing careers have signing with separate college programs Thursday evening.

Williams will play at Bowling Green State University in the fall. Hall has signed on with Siena Heights out of Michigan.

Williams was a four-year letter award winner on the pitch at Homestead.  Under head coach Katie Metz, Williams was a two-time Northeast Hoosier Conference All-Conference Team honoree in 2014 and 2013, as well as a Northeast Hoosier Conference Honorable Mention selection in 2012. Williams, who was elected as a 2014 team captain, helped  her team to four straight Sectional Championships (2011, 2012, 2013, 2014) and three consecutive All-Conference Championships (2011, 2012, 2013). In 2013, the Spartans won regionals and advanced all the way to semi-state before losing on penalty kicks. Williams, who also lettered in track & field for two years, totaled 25 goals and 15 assists in her four-year career at Homestead.

Hall was an All-Conference selection twice as the Spartans’ goalkeeper. She was a three-year varsity player, accumulating a 23-9-5 overall record. She made 99 career saves and posted 16 shutouts.
