Police: Ind. alleged sex offender arrested in Mich.

COLDWATER, Mich. (WANE) Indiana police said an alleged sex offender was arrested in Michigan on Thursday. Jason Robert Cappella, 34, was wanted in Indiana on an outstanding warrant from 2008 for failing to register as a sex or violent offender.

Cappella was arrested around 9 a.m. Steuben County Sheriff’s detectives contacted U.S. Marshals for assistance in locating and apprehending Cappella.

As of Thursday, Cappella was booked into the Branch County Jail and was awaiting extradition back to Indiana.
