The show has added a couple new features this year: a three-story zip line and two stocked ponds people can fish in. The zip line and pond are part of a fundraiser to benefit Honor Flight Northeast Indiana Chapter, a nonprofit that raises money to honor World War II military veterans by sending them on a one-day trip to Washington D.C. to visit war memorials. Each flight costs around $60,000 and they are planning to send over 300 veterans on 4 different flights this year.
The show also has chainsaw-carving demos, a 25,000-gallon kayak lagoon, youth archery lessons, air rifle shooting range and more. For the first time this year, Bass Pro Shops brand will be available. Each day there are special Timberworks Lumberjack Shows. For a full list of activities, click here.
More than 100 outdoor exhibitors will be at the show with a range of sporting goods, including biking, hiking, camping, fitness, hunting, fishing, and more. A solar-powered log cabin will also be at the event.
