FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – Two Carroll seniors will continue to play volleyball together at the college level. Remi Swoverland and Jocie Bolinger each signed letters of intent Thursday with Bethel College.
Swoverland, a libero with the Chargers, was a three-year starter at Carroll and was an integral part of the school’s 2014 NHC championship, three sectional championships, three regional titles, and three straight semi-state appearances. She was named 2nd team all conference as a junior, and a 1st team all conference and 2nd team All-Northeast Indiana this past fall. She was also a member of the ICGSA Senior North All-Star team for 2014.
Bolinger, an outside hitter, was a four-year starter on Carroll’s varsity program. She played a key role in two Carroll NHC conferece championships and four straight semi-state appearances.
She was 2nd team All-Conference in both her Junior and Senior years as well as Honorable Mention All-Northeast Indiana her senior year. Bolinger accumulated one of the highest winning percentages over her four years in Carroll Volleyball history.
