Mad Ants fall for third straight game

Dahntay Jones battles in the post against Oklahoma City.

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – Despite having two players on the roster on NBA assignments, the Mad Ants couldn’t stop a two-game losing skid falling to Oklahoma City 90-87 in overtime.

In a game that saw 12 lead changes, the Mad Ants couldn’t hang on to the lead in the fourth quarter as the Blue outscored the Ants 29-16 to send the game to OT.

Andre Emmett led Fort Wayne with a game-high 23 points.  Dahntay Jones added 16 points while Gary Talton had 14.  Former IU standout Noah Vonleh, on assignment from the Charlotte Hornets, only scored two points on a dismal 1-of-10 shooting.  Bruno Caboclo, on assignment from the Toronto Raptors, was held scoreless on 0-for-4 shooting.

The Mad Ants are next in action Thursday when they host Oklahoma City again.
