3 injured following head-on crash in Kosciusko Co.

SYRACUSE, Ind. (WANE) Three people were injured, one of whom is in critical condition, after a crash Monday afternoon in the town of  Syracuse, in Kosciusko County.  

According to the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department, Peggy A. Page, 37, of Pierceton is in critical condition after she crashed head-on with an oncoming vehicle. Deputies said Page was driving on State Road 13 at Waco Drive around 2:45 a.m. For an unknown reason, her vehicle crossed the centerline of SR13. Page’s vehicle collided with another vehicle driven by James A. Brumbaugh, 66, of Milford.

Page’s passenger, Shaun M. Church, 37, of New Paris was transported to a hospital in serious condition with chest injuries. Brumbaugh was transported to another hospital with chest injuries and numerous lacerations. 

Page was extracted from her vehicle and transported by helicopter to a hospital in Fort Wayne.

This incident is still under investigation by the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department.
