Angel Tree tags and gifts can be turned in by Friday

Locate a participating site, choose a tag for a local child and return items to site or Salvation Army by December 12

If you chose a tag from an area Angel Tree, the deadline to turn in the items is Friday, December 12. If you still want to choose a tag, Angel Tree tags are still out in our community. As of this writing, they are available at Sears, Macy’s, JC Penney, Chick-fil-a Apple Glen and iAB financial. The Angel Tree program seeks to provide a gift of a new outfit, coat and shoes to each child in need this Christmas. Angel Tree is a program of the Salvation Army who distributes the gifts. Area businesses place Angel Tree Tags on a tree in their store. Each tag is individually marked to represent a child, and the sizes of his/her most needed items.
