Komets Captain Kaleigh Schrock Suffers Three Facial Fractures

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – Komets captain Kaleigh Schrock suffered three facial fractures in a fight Saturday night in Indianapolis against Klarc Wilson according to Blake Sebring of The News-Sentinel, WANE’s news-gathering partner.

Schrock suffered fractures to his orbital bone, forehead, and temple.

Schrock will need surgery and will miss at least a month of action.

A Snider high school grad and Fort Wayne native, Schrock is in his sixth season with the Komets. The winger has tallied two goals in 11 games this season.

The Komets play at Evansville both Friday and Saturday. They host Toledo on Sunday.
