GRANT COUNTY, Ind. (WANE) Freezing rain created slick travel conditions on I-69 near the 259 mile marker in Grant County on Tuesday morning according to the Indiana State Police. Troopers responded to numerous slide-offs and crashes and traffic was moving slowly in both the northbound and southbound lanes.
The Jay County Sheriff’s Department also reported slick and hazardous roads as the result of the freezing rain.
