Silver Alert canceled for missing Kokomo woman

KOKOMO, Ind. (WANE) – Indiana State Police said late Sunday night a Silver Alert for a missing Kokomo woman has been canceled.

The request was made by the Howard County Sheriff’s Department. A dispatcher said Doris Bean was found in Hudson, Illinois and is fine. Hudson is around 200 miles away from Kokomo, Indiana, which is where Bean lives and was last seen on Saturday night.

Police are asking for help finding a missing woman from Kokomo, Indiana, which is about 55 miles north of Indianapolis.

Doris J. Bean, 78, was last seen Saturday around 8:30 p.m. She’s believed to be in danger and in need of medical attention.

Bean is a white female, 5 feet 2 inches tall, weighs 146 pounds and has short, curly blond hair and blue eyes. The ring finger on her left hand is missing. She was last seen wearing a green sweatshirt and either brown or black slacks.

Bean is believed to be driving a 2001 maroon Dodge Intrepid with Indiana plate RNJ434.
