Detectives find drugs, guns while serving arrest warrant

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) Police seized more than 20 grams of drugs and three guns while serving a search warrant for the arrest of Calvin Bracey Wednesday, according to the Fort Wayne Police Department.

Detectives with the Fort Wayne Gang and Violent Crimes Unit observed Bracey at 3415 Reed Street. He was with a group of people outside when detectives began to approach the residence. The group ran back inside and police surround it. Everyone came outside and Bracey was taken into custody.

While searching the resident, detectives found the following items:

  • 4.5 Grams of Crack Cocaine
  • 18.5 Grams of Marijuana
  • 1 – Ruger P95 9MM semi-automatic handgun
  • 1 – Glock 22 .40cal semi-automatic handgun
  • 1 – AK47 Romarm/CUGIR WASR-10 Assault Rifle

Police said no arrests have been made at this time, but the incident is still under investigation.
