FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – A truck got stuck at a Norfolk Southern underpass on Tuesday morning.
The truck was driving south on Hanna Street when it became stuck at the underpass between Hanna and Wallace at about 8:30 a.m. There is a sign at the underpass indicating that the height is 11’10.” A Norfolk Southern train was stopped while the bridge’s structure was checked for safety. Traffic on Hanna was moving normally and southbound traffic was directed onto Hayden by Fort Wayne police.
Police didn’t know how long it would take to get the truck out, but at 9 a.m., police said it would likely be a couple of hours.
