All lanes back open on I-69 north of Marion

GRANT COUNTY, Ind. (WANE) – Indiana State Police had to deal with a traffic mess after a semi caught fire on I-69 just north of Marion on Monday.

According to Public Information Officer Sergeant Tony Slocum, the fire happened in the northbound lanes near the 266 mile marker. The fire happened at about 8:45 a.m. Emergency responders were on the scene after 9 a.m. and had the fire extinguished. No one was injured and the road has since reopened.
