Police find meth dealer’s missing backpack

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) A man faces several meth related charges after police found a backpack containing a ‘one pot’ meth lab on the 200 block of East Pontiac Street, according to the affidavit for probable cause.

Nearly a week after the backpack was found, police served a search warrant where Robert Justus, 41, lives. While searching the garage, detectives located several items that are used in the making of methamphetamine. When Justus was interviewed by police, he admitted that makes meth. He told police he starts a bottle in his garage and finishes the production of meth in his yard. He also claimed the backpack found on Pontiac containing a ‘one pot’ meth lab had been stolen from him.

Justus was charged with a felony for dealing in methamphetamine, possessing chemicals with the intent to manufacture and a misdemeanor charge of possessing paraphernalia.
