INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Seven people were injured early Thursday when an IndyGo bus was struck by a pickup truck on the city’s near northeast side.
The accident happened shortly after 5 a.m. at East 38th Street and Fall Creek Parkway.
Indianapolis Metropolitan Police say a total of seven people were hurt. None of the the injuries were described as critical.
Additional ambulances were called to the scene.
The right southbound lanes of Fall Creek were blocked. Some of the east and westbound lanes were also blocked due to debris in the roadway.
Investigators say the IndyGo bus was westbound on 38th Street when it was struck by a truck that was southbound on Fall Creek Parkway.
The impact caused the bus to spin completely around.
