(WANE) Indiana State Excise Police officers arrested or cited 70 people on 105 charges at various college campuses in central Indiana over the Halloween weekend.
Officers issued 60 citations or summonses to 42 people at Ball State University on charges including illegal possession or consumption of an alcoholic beverage, possession of false identification, furnishing alcoholic beverages to a minor and various traffic offenses. Of those cited over the weekend, 29 were issued on Halloween.
On Friday at Ball State, a 19-year-old female was transported to Ball Memorial hospital around 10:40 p.m. She was seen staggering with a man in a housing area east of campus. A breathalyzer test indicated her blood alcohol was 0.265 percent.
In Bloomington, 20 were arrested or cited on Friday night. Sixteen minors were issued summonses for illegal possession or consumption of alcohol and four were cited for possession of a false ID.
At Earlham College in Richmond, Indiana and Indiana State University in Terre Haute, Indiana four people were arrested or summoned for various offenses including illegal possession or consumption of alcohol, possession of false identification, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
