Luers Grad Jaylon Smith Semifinalist For Butkus Award

Bishop Luers graduate Jaylon Smith is one of 15 finalists for the collegiate version of the Butkus Award, which goes to the nation’s top linebacker at the end of the season.
Smith, a sophomore at Notre Dame, won the high school version of the Butkus Award two years at Luers.
Smith is second on the Irish in tackles and his 6.5 tackles for loss lead the team.
