FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) Ghosts and ghouls haunted the Fort Wayne Philharmonic Saturday afternoon for the ‘Halloween Spooktacular.’
People dressed in their Halloween costumes for the concert at the Rhinehart Music Center on the campus of Indiana University Purdue University Fort Wayne. The program was about an hour long and designed for families.
The Phil used this event as an opportunity to encourage children to explore musical instruments first hand. There was also face painting, coloring and crafts.
The next concert for the Fort Wayne Philharmonic is on November 1, with Brahms’ Second Symphony. For a full list of concerts, click here.
This is the 71st season for the Fort Wayne Philharmonic. The Phil’s mission is to inspire and foster a lifelong love of classical music through performance and education.
