New Halloween event focuses on health education

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) Are you looking for a fun way to get into the Halloween spirit while helping your kids focus on their health? A new downtown event will accomplish both.

The McMillen Center for Health Education is hosting the McMillen Well-O-Ween Costume Ball.

The event features a DJ, costume contest, ghost tours, food and beverages from Mad Anthony Brewery and games based around health and wellness prevention. One of the activities will feature real human organs.

Bethany Clapper, Director of Development and Marketing for McMillen Center joined NewsChannel 15’s Gina Glaros and Rob Lydick on First News Sunday to preview the event.

The Well-O-Ween Costume Ball is Saturday, October 25 from 7-11 p.m. at the Freemason’s Hall.

Tickets costs $45 per person.
