Voters should expect a postcard in the mail

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) Allen County voters should expect to see a postcard in the mail this week that will confirm where they need to cast their ballots for the upcoming General Election on November 4.

Many polling places have changed since the 2012 presidential election for a number of reasons. Some locations no longer wanted to be polling places and others were not in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act.

“There was only a 12% voter turn-out in the primary and people may not have voted in a while,” said Lisbeth Borgmann, Clerk of the Allen Circuit and Superior Courts. “I don’t want voters to overlook these important postcards, especially during this season of political mailings.”

Voters may also visit the Allen County Election Board’s website for more information. The “Check Your Polling Location” link contains an interactive map that provides directions to your polling location and shows the candidates that will be on your ballot.
