INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – A piece of Hollywood came to Indianapolis Saturday night.
Silver screen star Robert Downey Jr. was at the AMC Castleton Square Theater as part of the Heartland Film Festival.
The festival doesn’t start until the October 16, but Downey was in Indy for a special screening of his new movie “The Judge.” The movie is based in the fictitious Indiana town of Carlinville.
“It’s about first love. It’s about the complexities of being pulled into something that you really don’t want to have to deal with, and by dealing with it, you kind of transform, but it’s also incredibly funny. Trust me, we don’t just want to make a dour, ‘oh, it’s kind of a bummer.’ This movie is a rock-and-roll, roller coaster ride of fun,” Downey said Saturday.
You can see the full interview with Downey on Friday on Indy Style.
