FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE)  Three hundred members of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Fort Wayne and the Euell A. Wilson Center received new shoes at a Samaritan’s Feet event Tuesday afternoon.

The goal of Samaritan’s Feet is to share hope with local children by washing their feet and giving them a new pair of shoes. Through those actions, leaders believe they can demonstrate to young people that their dreams can come true.

Northeastern Indiana Credit Union Chapter (NEICUC) partnered with Samaritan’s Feet International to make the event possible. NEICUC financed the project, coordinated the logistics, and recruited over 40 volunteers to
help with the event.
