The goal of Samaritan’s Feet is to share hope with local children by washing their feet and giving them a new pair of shoes. Through those actions, leaders believe they can demonstrate to young people that their dreams can come true.
Northeastern Indiana Credit Union Chapter (NEICUC) partnered with Samaritan’s Feet International to make the event possible. NEICUC financed the project, coordinated the logistics, and recruited over 40 volunteers to
help with the event.
“The Northeastern Indiana Credit Union Chapter is honored to join this inspiring cause,” said Nina Baker, President of the Northeastern Indiana Credit Union Chapter and Executive Vice President at ProFed Federal Credit Union. “The credit union movement is about serving others. We are extremely appreciative of this opportunity to partner with Samaritan’s Feet Shoes of Hope, the Boys and Girls Club, and Euell Wilson Center. We are proud to help them meet the needs of the community.”
“It is wonderful to see the collaborative efforts that have been done on behalf of the youth in our community,” commented Joe Jordan, President & CEO of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Fort Wayne, “We thank the Northeastern Indiana Credit Union Chapter in coordinating the partnerships that are bringing new shoes, as well as a very powerful message of service, to these children.”
