Cougars Offense Sputters In Loss to Grand View

FORT WAYNE, IN (WANE) – For the first time in more than a decade, Saint Francis failed to score a touchdown in a game as the 9th ranked Cougars fell to #8 and defending national champion Grand View.

USF failed to capitalize on several trips to the red zone, settling for three field goals from Ryan Nix. Quarterback Nick Ferrer struggled in his second career start, throwing three interceptions while being sacked four times.

Derek Fulton lead the way for Grand View, completed 17-of-30 passes for 173 yards and a touchdown. He rushed for an additional 53 yards and a touchdown that gave the Vikings the lead for good in the third quarter.

Saint Francis falls to 2-2 and will host Siena Heights next Saturday for homecoming.
