Fort Wayne, Ind. (WANE) – The annual dinner and auction raises more than a third of the annual budget for the Mustard Seed Furniture Bank. The nonprofit provides household goods such as kitchen, living room and bedroom furniture, linens and cookware to referred families and individuals who are struggling due to personal crisis. Since 2002, over 6,800 households have been enriched by the work of the Mustard Seed Furniture Bank.
The event is scheduled for Thursday, October 9, at the University of Saint Francis Performing Arts Center (431 West Berry Street). Activities include hors d’oeuvres, silent auction and a catered dinner. It will begin at 6p.m. Tickets are available in advance-only; online or by calling, 260-471-5802 Ext. 100. Tickets are $100 per person or $750 per table of eight. Pat Hoffmann will co-emcee the program.
