USF Gears Up To Host William Penn

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – Saints Francis is getting ready to host William Penn for their first Saturday game of the season this week at Bishop D’Arcy Stadium.
The Cougars opened the 2014 last week at home, beating Missouri Baptist 42-10 in a Thursday night game. The Cougs overcame two early turnovers to rush for 318 yards as a team in the victory.
USF used three quarterbacks in that win – starter Wes Hunsucker and reserves Bradley Jarzab and Nick Ferrer.
William Penn is 1-1 on the season after a 41-16 loss at South Dakota last week. The Statesmen run a triple-option offense that produced 335 yards on the ground in last week’s loss.
USF defeated William Penn last season 31-13 in a road game for the Cougars.
Kickoff this Saturday is set for noon at USF.
