FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) Frontier Communications announced Monday that an upgrade to its FiOS network will allow residential customers to experience internet speeds of up to 100 megabits per second (Mbps).
“Frontier has spent nearly $250 million to upgrade and enhance our Indiana network over the last few years, with the most recent investment in our FiOS® network bringing even higher broadband speeds to our residential customers,” Indiana Senior Vice President and General Manager Greg Stephens said. “Broadband plays an increasingly important role in providing information, education and entertainment. Communities have started asking for higher speeds for gaming and high-tech applications, and Frontier is committed to fulfilling those needs.”
Residents can call 1-800-921-8101 toll free for information about service options for faster speeds.
According to the xfinity web site, customers with that service can get download speeds of up to 105 Mbps.
