Two arrested on steroid charges in Gas City

GAS CITY, Ind. (WANE)  Two men were arrested Wednesday after a nine month long criminal investigation into the distribution and use of anabolic steroids. Indiana State Police arrested James Poulson, 37, and Robert Davis, 37, both from Gas City on several felony charges.

According to the police report, the investigation started after police received a tip from a concerned person. While officers were conducting a search warrant for Davis’ and Poulson’s residence at 305 East South St, they allegedly found a hand gun, scheduled III narcotics (steroids), prescription medication and syringes. Police also believe they found a combination drug of ecstasy, a scheduled I controlled substance, mixed with a narcotic. Lab tests are pending to verify all of the narcotics confiscated.

Poulson faces several felony charges including the following:

Dealing a scheduled I controlled substance

Possession of a scheduled III substance controlled substance

Possession of a syringe

Maintaining a common nuisance

Invasion of privacy with a prior conviction

Davis faces the following felony charges:

Dealing a scheduled III controlled substance

Possession of a scheduled I controlled substance

Possession of a syringe
