SAC Week 3 Recap

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – 5A no. 1 Snider moved to 3-0 on the season while North Side and Bishop Dwenger were postponed in the third quarter to headline SAC action on Friday night.
The Panthers rushed 23 times for 165 yards and five touchdowns to win Spuller Stadium supremacy over Northrop 37-0 in a game that was called in the third quarter due to weather.
At Zollner Stadium Marcus Stepp’s receiving touchdown early in the third quarter gave Bishop Dwenger a 22-12 lead early in the third quarter before the game was stalled by lightning. The Saints and Redskins will pick up action at 2 p.m. Saturday.
Bishop Luers topped South Side 43-0 as the 3A no. 13 Knights improved to 3-0.
4A no. 6 Wayne led Concordia 19-14 in the third quarter before action was halted. The Generals and Cadets will pick up where they left off at 10:30 a.m. Saturday.
