FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – Police are asking for help identifying and finding a man they believe stole credit cards out of a car and then used them Walmart and Meijer.

According to the release from the Fort Wayne Police Department, a woman arrived at the Cork and Cleaver at 221 Washington Center Road on June 17 just after 5 p.m. She was notified about 30 minutes later that her car window had been broken. The only items that had been taken were three credit cards and a debit card.

Two possible suspects, a white man and a white woman, had been sitting in a black SUV parked next to the vehicle, according to the incident report.

Before she canceled the cards, the following transactions were made:

  • $200 at Walmart
  • $300 at Meijer on Lima Road
  • $300 at Walmart

Anyone with information on the suspect pictured in the surveillance image released by police is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at (26) 436-STOP.
