BUCYRUS, Ohio (AP) — Authorities in a small Ohio city are trying to figure out who killed four men in four separate homes.
Police in Bucyrus (byoo-SY’-rus) say each man was beaten to death. Their bodies were found Monday. All were between the ages of 50 and 70. They probably knew one another, and police are investigating whether the slayings are connected.
A man came into the police station and led deputies to the last two bodies Monday. He is in custody, but hasn’t been charged.
Some of the residents of the town of 12,000 about 65 miles north of Columbus say they are now worried about their safety in a place unaccustomed to a lot of violent crime.
The victims’ names haven’t been released.
