TinCaps Gear Up For First Round Of Playoffs

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – The TinCaps are getting ready for their sixth consecutive playoff appearance as Fort Wayne will host the West Michigan Whitecaps in game one of a best-of-three first round series tomorrow night at 7:05 p.m.
Game two will be Thursday at West Michigan while game three, if necessary, would be Friday at West Michigan.
The Caps clinched a wildcard playoff spot on the final day of the regular season, beating Bowling Green 4-0 on the road behind Josh VanMeter’s three-run home run in the seventh.
The TinCaps have won seven of their last nine games.
Fort Wayne will start Jimmy Brasoban on the hill in game one.
