Woman hurt after car collides with FWCS bus

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – A school bus and a vehicle were involved in a crash at State Boulevard and Clinton Street around 10:45 a.m. Tuesday. No children were on the bus.

Fort Wayne police dispatch said one person was in serious condition following the crash.

According to Fort Wayne Community Schools spokesperson Krista Stockman, a woman driving east on State Boulevard ran a stop light and hit the FWCS school bus. The woman was pinned in the car and had to be cut out by emergency crews.

The bus driver, who was headed to the Anthis Career Center to pick up students, was not injured.
