Police search home of missing Indianapolis baby

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Police investigators have been searching the Indianapolis home of the parents of a 6-week-old boy whose father says was taken from him last week.

City police crews arrived Monday night with a search warrant at the house of Delano Wilson’s parents. Indianapolis television stations showed investigators remained at the house early Tuesday and took some large bags from the house to a crime lab van.

Police spokesman Rafael Diaz said Tuesday the search was part of the ongoing investigation and that no one has been arrested.

The baby’s father, 23-year-old Willie Wilson, told police his son was abducted last Wednesday by a man and woman who knocked him out in an alley near his home just west of downtown Indianapolis. Police have found nothing in neighborhood searches.
