Indy GameStop employee tied up by thieves

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department is hoping the public can help track down two men who robbed a video game store and tied up an employee.

The robbery happened around 1:23 p.m. Aug. 19 at GameStop in the 4500 block of Lafayette Road in Indianapolis.

The wanted men are described as a black man wearing a red floppy hat and a black hooded sweatshirt with Nike written on the front, and a black man wearing a black sweatshirt with Aeropostale 87 on the front and camouflage pants. See the photos attached to this story.

According to police, the men came into the store asking about buying an Xbox One Forza 5 bundle. When the worker went to get the item, one of the suspects ordered him to the ground while pointing a handgun. The other employee zip-tied the employee’s hands.

The men left with three Xbox One Forza 5 systems and one Playstation 4. According to GameStop’s website, the XBox One Forza 5 bundle retails for about $500.
