FORT WAYNE, IN. (WANE) – Canterbury is always tough at home and the 13th ranked Cavaliers proved as much Saturday night with a 3-1 win over Homestead.
Junior Gramm Kauffman got the Cavs started with a chip shot goal that deflected into the net off the post early in the first half. Homestead countered in the 17th minute when David Rincon headed in the equalizer off a throw in. That was the last out of the Spartans though as Canterbury added two more goals to pull away for the win.
