BSOC: #13 Canterbury Holds Serve At Home In Win Over Spartans

FORT WAYNE, IN. (WANE) –  Canterbury is always tough at home and the 13th ranked Cavaliers proved as much Saturday night with a 3-1 win over Homestead.

Junior Gramm Kauffman got the Cavs started with a chip shot goal that deflected into the net off the post early in the first half. Homestead countered in the 17th minute when David Rincon headed in the equalizer off a throw in. That was the last out of the Spartans though as Canterbury added two more goals to pull away for the win. provides commenting on many stories to allow for constructive discussion.
