BFGoodrich looks to hire 60 at Woodburn plant

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – BFGoodrich will be holding a hiring event in September to fill 60 production positions at the tire manufacturer’s Woodburn plant.

The hiring event will be held on September 6 from 8 a.m. to noon at the WorkOne career center in Fort Wayne at 201 E. Rudisill Blvd., Suite 102.

Those interested in working at BFGoodrich need to be at least 18-years old, willing to work full-time a 12-hour rotating schedule, able to operate semi-skilled machinery, and able to perform frequent lifting, bending and standing for extended periods.

According to the release, pay for the positions will be $14.57 an hour, with a benefits package after 30 days and an opportunity for shift premiums and incentive pay for certain jobs. provides commenting on many stories to allow for constructive discussion.
