Two hurt in Noble Co. crash

Two people were hurt in a crash on State Road 8 and 3 in Noble County.

NOBLE COUNTY, Ind. (WANE)  Two people got hurt in a crash just north of Avilla Tuesday night.

Police said just before 6:00 p.m., Sarah Marker, 40, was heading east on State Road 8 and failed to stop at the red light at the intersection of State Road 3. She drove into the path of a car driven by Kerry Lee Nelson, Jr., 34, of Fort Wayne.

Both drivers were wearing seatbelts. Medics took Nelson to Parkview Regional Medical Center for chest and neck pain. Marker also complained of chest pain and was taken to Parkview Noble in Kendallville. She was cited for disregarding an automatic signal.
