I-69 cleared after semitrailer leaked fuel

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – Fort Wayne Police and Homeland Security spent hours cleaning up spilled fuel from a semi-trailer Sunday morning.

Police closed a lane on I-69 near the exit 302 and U.S. 24 by Jefferson Boulevard.

According to Fort Wayne dispatchers, the truck crashed on the interstate Sunday morning around 8 a.m. and started to leak fuel. The semi was headed south when it crashed.

Police said no one was injured.

Police cleared all lanes around 1 p.m.
