FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) The Fort Wayne Historic Embassy has two shows on sale starting Friday, August 29. The Embassy is bringing a Canadian musical, Evil Dead, and comedy powerhouse, The Second City, to Fort Wayne this fall.
According to the Embassy, Evil Dead The Musical is a record breaking musical from Canada. It tells the outrageous story of five college friends spending the weekend in an abandoned cabin in the woods after accidentally unleashing an evil force that turns them all into demons. The musical includes an iconic ‘splatter zone’ in which audience members who sit in the orchestra pit get covered in fake blood during the production.
The musical is at the Embassy on October 15. Tickets start at $20 and then increase to $30, $40, and $55.

The Second City show is part of Manchester University’s 125th Anniversary celebration. The comedy troupe’s previous members include big names like Tina Fey, Stephen Colbert, Amy Poehler, Steve Carell, Bill Murray, Jason Sudeikis and more.
Tickets for The Second City’s 55th Anniversary tour on November 7 cost $28, $38, and $68.
