ACRES to host Blue Jean Gala

Blue Jean Gala, September 4, 2014

The 2014 ACRES Land Trust Blue Jean Gala isn’t your typical gala.  It’s representative of the values of the preservation organization and its supporters.  It will be held outdoors, rain or shine, at the Joseph Decuis farm on Thursday, September 4.  It includes dinner, beverages, live performance art, a live and silent auction and other fun surprises.

Funds raised from the gala will be used locally to preserve land, the majority of which is in Allen County.  Tickets are $100 each or $75 each for two or more.  To reserve your place, call 260-637-2273 or register online at

ACRES Land Trust is the oldest and largest land preservation organization in Indiana.  It owns nature preserves totaling 5,400 acres within the service area of northeast Indiana, northwest Ohio, and southern Michigan.  The ACRES nature preserves are open to the public from dawn to dusk and are free of charge.  For a current list of locations visit the website.
