ALLEN COUNTY, Ind. (WANE) – A tractor-trailer carrying tens-of-thousands of pounds of truck parts flipped on I-69 early Monday morning.
The Allen County Sheriff’s Department said the truck attempted to merge onto southbound I-69 from I-469 near the GM Plant when it overturned around 12:45 a.m.
Investigators believe the semi’s speed may have been a factor in the crash.
No injuries were reported.
The tractor-trailer came to a stop underneath the overpass of I-469, partially in the median and blocking the left lane. Nothing in the truck’s trailer spilled from the road and it was unclear early Monday morning how long it would take to clear the truck from the interstate.
Police have not said where the truck was heading or where it came from.
The name of the driver was not released.
The crash is under investigation.
