Radio station brings R&B, Old School to the city

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE)  Fort Wayne is adding a new radio station to the region. According to Adams Radio Group,  96.9 R&B and Old School was introduced to the radio waves last week.

“We are two days into the station and have already been live on site in the market with two events!” on air host, Big Kess said. “It feels great to be back on the air and in a format designed to serve the community I love.” Previously Kess was a morning host at ‘Wild 96’ on WNHT.

The addition of the R&B station fills a hole in the Fort Wayne radio market. “This may have been the largest hole in the market. Fort Wayne has an African American population of about 9% of which no radio station served. I have been completed overwhelmed by the immediate response to the station.”

About Adams Group: Adams Radio Group is a medium to small market radio group focused on live and local radio operations and creating great marketing opportunities for business.
