FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE)- The Fort Wayne Police Department wants you to be aware of a couple men going around town asking to reseal your driveway.

On Sunday, police responded to Covington Road near the Fort Wayne Country Club on a report of two people going door to door and asking people if they wanted their driveways sealed.

Officers pulled up, found the two men -along with a red pickup- and asked them what they were doing. The men told the officers they were staying at a local motel and were trying to make some money. They also admitted they didn’t have driver’s licenses.

Police did run identification checks on the men and found one of them had warrants out of Tennessee, Wisconsin and Alabama. Those warrants, however, were non-extraditable.

Police ended up waiting for someone to come pick the men up and watched them leave.

Officers did not say the two broke any laws in Fort Wayne.
