Mosquito spraying in New Haven Wednesday

NEW HAVEN, Ind. (WANE)  The City of New haven is spraying for mosquitoes Wednesday from 8 p.m. until midnight. The city’s mayor is asking residents to stay inside while spray crews are in the area.

The spraying will focus on areas in the Sunnymede subdivision and in a half-mile radius around the 2000 block of Dellwood Drive.

Residents who don’t want the trucks to spray in front of their house should contact the Utility Department at 260-414-9097 before 4 p.m. on Wednesday.

If mosquito spraying is canceled due to rain or excessive wind, spraying will be backed up one day at a time.
